School Transfer of Students Affected by Relocation Project Handled by Govt

As reported before, about 400 buildings stood along on the bank of Item River, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, were demolished on Monday (10/27) because an inspection road will be built in the location.

For households affected by this project, 100 of them are relocated to Komarudin Flat and 220 others to Pulogebang Flat. Besides relocating households to flats, Central Jakarta Administration will also help hundreds of children in terms of their education.

“All students who live in Komarudin Flat and Pulogebang Flat are guaranteed can continue their education in schools around their domicile. We will process all documents and find schools that are close to their flats for free,” stated Acting Central Jakarta Mayor, Rustam Effendi, Wednesday (29/10).

Similar statement also came out from Head of Central Jakarta Primary Sub-Department, Sujadiono, who admitted has instructed Head of Kemayoran Sub-District Primary Education Section to help the students whose houses were demolished.
